We are searching for an IT Development Analyst to join our growing Information and Technology (IT) Team!

As an IT Development Analyst you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web-based applications, analyzing business requirements, and facilitating Agile/Scrum project management. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in web development, coupled with excellent analytical and project management abilities.

How will you impact our organization as an IT Development Analyst on a daily basis?

• Design and implement user-facing web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (NextJS/ReactJS).

• Develop server-side logic and APIs utilizing JavaScript tools such as ExpressJS, Node.js, and similar technologies.

• Build and optimize database schemas using modern SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with designers to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces and ensure the responsiveness, adaptability, and end-to-end performance of applications.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs into web applications.

• Conduct system testing for quality assurance, analyze for optimization, and document system configurations and procedures.

• Collaborate with business users and cross functional teams to understand needs and objectives.

• Participate in agile development processes, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos and retrospectives.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of experience as a full-stack web developer and/or business analyst through internships and/or capstone projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Must be proficient with development tools (VS Code, Github, Jira, Confluence), familiar with development languages and objects (JavaScript, SQL, nodeJS, NextJS, expressJS) and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Experience with software development methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, SCRUM, GitHub, Jira & Confluence).
• The position requires the ability to learn new technologies/methodologies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions
• Ability to travel up to 10%

Preferred Skills & Qualifications: 

• Certification(s) in Scrum (e.g., Certified Scrum Master) and/or business analysis (e.g., CBAP) is a plus.
